You know I am a bit suprised. With all the know it all's on this board I thought for sure I would get more real answers to this question on this thread. After all I was being sincere in my quest to know more about this guy.
The sad fact is nobody really knows this guy. Nobody really knows what his plans are specifically. Other than his one liners and sound bites, which really make him sound like a socialist and at times a communist, there really is no substance is there.
If you people who like Obama can't tell me what he is all about beyond the sound bites, then how the hell can you expect others to vote for him? Why would you want to vote for him?
Just some honest questions, but I don't think most of you can give honest answers. That is why we end up with people like Bush, Clinton, McCain and Obama.

I think his stances on issues, his voting record (hopefully with a write up of his reasoning), and the independent views of him by groups (for instance how he is rated NARAL) says quite a lot about him.
