Crowley is really a conservative posing as a liberal and parroting all the stupid things he thinks liberals would say.

You forgot Britain and Japan, free countries with little gun violence.

You speak like thieves who need guns to protect them from their wrongdoings.

It also demonstrates the stark difference between traditional American values, and what the left thinks is acceptable. There is no way to interpret the second amendment as a collective right. Any sound thinking, non-Obama constitutional scholar will tell you that if you consider the language of the second amendment to be "collective", meaning of course a states right, rather than individualistic, you would than have to consider the rest of the bill of rights as collective rather than individual. Consider the words of the founders themselves as to the collective arguement:

No freeman shall ever be debarred the use of arms.
---Thomas Jefferson: Draft Virginia Constitution, 1776.

We established however some, although not all its [self-government] important principles . The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved,) or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed;
---Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824.

Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.
---Tenche Coxe, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.

[i]The whole of that Bill [of Rights] is a declaration of the right of the people at large or considered as individuals...t establishes some rights of the individual as unalienable and which consequently, no majority has a right to deprive them of.
---Albert Gallatin to Alexander Addison, Oct 7, 1789,

Those in power should have a healthy dose of fear of the people. We are the ultimate check and balance in this nation, and that is what was intended. The entire bill of rights is an anti-government document, so is it any wonder why those whom believe they are the final arbitrator of our rights would much rather see this population disarmed?
Explain how the 9th and 10th amendments are not collective, but individual rights.

THEN, explain why your midset is not equivalent to treason and a thereat of domestic terrorism

These are two legitimate questions based on your words.
