The New York Times reported Wednesday that Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal
has agreed to meet with Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain
Friday, and is believed to be on a short list of possible Vice
Presidential running mates for the Arizona senator.
The report cites Republican sources who indicate McCain will meet Friday
with Jindal and Florida Governor Charlie Crist, who has also been
mentioned as a candidate on Jindal's "short list."
Jindal has repeatedly rejected speculation both statewide and nationally
that he would seek the vice presidential nomination, saying he has too
much work to do in Louisiana.
The report also indicated one Republican source believes former
Massachusetts Governor and one-time Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is
also on McCain's list of possible running mates.

He also can't bring any money to the table. That is also a important part.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal confirms he is going to spend some time
with Senator John McCain this weekend. It comes after the New York Times
today reported that Jindal is on a short list of possible Vice
Presidential running mates for the Arizona senator.
The report cites Republican sources who indicate McCain will meet Friday
with Jindal and Florida Governor Charlie Crist, who has also been
mentioned as a candidate on McCain's "short list."
Jindal's office late Tuesday released a statement on the planned visit
with McCain. It neither confirms nor denies the report that Jindal and
McCain will talk about a Vice Presidential candidacy. Here is the
complete statement from Melissa Sellers, Press Secretary for Governor
Bobby Jindal:
"Governor Bobby Jindal and First Lady Supriya Jindal are going to Arizona
for the Memorial Day weekend to spend time with Senator John McCain and
Cindy McCain at their ranch. The Governor has met with the Senator many
times before and discussed the challenges facing the Gulf Coast region as
communities continue to rebuild. The Governor looks forward to joining
Senator McCain and his other guests this weekend, and he values this as
another opportunity to meet with a national leader, and the potential next
President of the United States, to discuss issues important to the future
growth of Louisiana."

I listened to a Jindal speech, he is very conservative.
It's clear, he was elected to clean up the Democrat's disaster in Louisiana.

Absolutely...as I keep saying, it's all cyclical.

It's exactly why Repubs are taking it in the ass right now...they have fucked up since 1994...they won Congress on a Conservative Agenda, and completely failed to get it implemented.
