No need to have a hissy fit just because you weren't in on the action.
Arguing with Crowley is like arguing logic with a 3 year old. No matter how hard you try, they are just not mature enough to "get it"

The fact is that those who say Bush lied ignore the fact that Bush got his intel from a number of sources from a number of nations. ALL of whom said Iraq had WMD.

The other fact is we did find casings and left overs of WMD's and we also know Saddam had weapons cashes hidden in the desert that we probably will never find. We also know that many weapons (probably including some WMD) were loaded on to trucks and taken to Syria and Iran. Hell, Some of Saddam's aircraft was sent to Syria and Iran as well to keep them from being blown up by us.

The notion that Bush lied and nobody believed Saddam had WMD but him and Tony Blair and that Saddam was not capable of using or building some form of WMD is childish and only shows their ignorance and reluctance for the truth. They live in a fairy tale world where only Bill Clinton is the good hero and George Bush is nothing but the evil spawn of another evil President.

As far as Israel goes, why single them out and if you need to ask why they abstained from participating you really haven't a clue.
If we're going to refer to Hans Blix last report to the UN we should also consider this part:

"How much time would it take to resolve the key remaining disarmament tasks? While cooperation can and is to be immediate, disarmament and at any rate the verification of it cannot be instant. Even with a proactive Iraqi attitude, induced by continued outside pressure, it would still take some time to verify sites and items, analyse documents, interview relevant persons, and draw conclusions. It would not take years, nor weeks, but months."

Why couldn't we give him a couple of months more?

I suppose we wanted to get the job done before the heat of summer...how'd that work out?

Mission Accomplished?

I just don't buy it, Saddam took a job that should have taken 6 months to a year at most to complete and rode with it for over 12 years, I don't buy Blix's optimistic take on a resolution just before the war started. Besides, Bush did give Saddam a last chance to come clean before the invasion took place.

I am amazed how every topic on this earth can somehow be linked to Isreal being to blame for it.... Just absolutely amazing....

Just some more FYI--- The UN passes resolutions based on a MAJORITY and there were I think 14 resolutions passed stating Military can be used as force against Iraq. For a very long time the anti war crowd in Iraq was a minority among United Nations participants.

Chiroux joined the US army straight out of high school nearly six years ago, and worked his way up from private to sergeant.

He served in Afghanistan, Germany, Japan, and the Philippines and was due to be deployed next month in Iraq.

On Thursday, he refused to go, saying he considers Iraq an illegal war.

“I stand before you today with the strength and clarity and resolve to declare to the military, my government and the world that this soldier will not be deploying to Iraq,” Chiroux said in the sun-filled rotunda of a congressional building in Washington.

What a fag, he should know he is not paid to have an opinion. He is the property of the US government.

You certainly have the right to pick and choose which parts of his statement you wish to accept.
