Closing In On Rove
Conyers: 'We're closing in on Rove'
Just off the House floor today, the Crypt overheard House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers tell two other people: “We’re closing in on Rove. Someone’s got to kick his ass.”
Asked a few minutes later for a more official explanation, Conyers told us that Rove has a week to appear before his committee. If he doesn’t, said Conyers, “We’ll do what any self-respecting committee would do. We’d hold him in contempt. Either that or go and have him arrested.”
Conyers said the committee wants Rove to testify about his role in the imprisonment of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman, among other things.
“We want him for so many things, it’s hard to keep track,” Conyers said.

On June 29, 2006, a federal jury found both Siegelman and Scrushy guilty. Siegelman was convicted on "one count of bribery, one count of conspiracy to commit honest services mail fraud, four counts of honest services mail fraud and one count of obstruction of justice", according to a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice.
Siegelman was sentenced by Judge Mark Everett Fuller to more than seven years in federal prison and a $50,000 fine.
Why doesn't Conyers have the Jury and Judge arrested?
These are the people that found this criminal Democrat guilty and sentenced him to prison.
Oh wait, the idea is to send this message to all Americans "Prosecute a Democrat for their crimes, you will be attacked and destroyed"
I'm glad Democrats support the rule of law.

They aren't the "target". They couldn't get him with Plame because Armitage did it...they aren't going to stop.

True.
Conyer's wife made a death threat to a fellow council member a couple of months ago. John Conyers could be just as crazy as his ho.

It should be interesting to see if they follow through on the latter. All they need is a majority vote in committee to have him arrested. This power hasn't been utilized since 1934, but unfortunately using inherent contempt is likely the only way they'll get someone from this administration to answer questions under oath.

Only because people like you were the dressing for the turkey.
Don't look for scapegoats, when your leadership's idea of leadership is HIDING legislation (if not buying it).
Shoo, gadfly, shoo.

Answer what questions?
Why this Democrat committed these crimes and a Judge sent him to prison?
