CEO Salaries (and I work closely with different CEO's and know what they produce and that is little) has gone up 300% and the average American's raise is usually enough to cover inflation. THAT IS WHAT HAS CAUSED THIS MASSIVE RECESSION the destruction of the middle class... WHO AREN"T BUYING and ours is a BUYING ECONOM

Actually, I would be curious to see if it is even "salaries" that have gone up. Most CEO compensation comes from stock options, and that is what has fueled those huge growths in CEO compensations.

Oh, this is something that most people don't know, but you all should WANT high CEO salaries. The IRS has rules saying that any salary over 1M for a CEO is doubled tax (the corporation cannot deduct it and the executive has to pay income taxes). This means more revenue for the government people!
