I guess naturemomma does not care about people that live under the tyranny of tyrants and oppression of an evil dictator that will use mustard gas against it's own citizens.

If I am wrong naturemomma please let me know. From what you type it seems like you would PREFER the 25 million Iraqi people to live under the rule of Saddam Hussein!

NO, I care about all people. All people who have died. I know that's rare, but true. I was in the peace corps when I was younger and I have seen a lot of what other people in other nations go through, just to survive. I don't value one life over another simply because it was made in America.

Look, I don't care if you agree with the Battle of Iraq or not. The point is, that it is war and "evil" things will be done on both sides. We are talking life and death here. That is all war is about. Life and Death.

As for civilians being killed, you gotta ask yourself who is doing the killing of them. It is not the US Service men and women. So why are you blaming US Troops for civilian deaths? Makes no sense at all. Is your hatred of President Bush so great that you would compromise reality?

You didn't say "soley" But you did imply that it is mostly the Americans fault that these people died.

The old argument "if we were not there, they would still be alive" argument is old and not completely true.

But to be fair, and I always try to be fair, you did say you kept a tab on ALL the deaths, but then you gave yourself away by throwing in "bullshit" as if the lives and freedom of those who live there are not worth dying for. Props to you for seeing that the Iraqi is paying a heavy price for their freedom. I guess in a small simplistic way you could say we are like the French were to us during our revolution. They lost soldiers just like we are so that we could gain our freedom.

But this is not so simplistic as that. And simply calling the Battle of Iraq as "bullshit" is way to simplistic. And you know it.

I can't imagine calling my lady, a female family member or any other woman I've ever met a "HO" and not be the recipient of a kick to the groin or slap to the face. I suppose Terms Of Endearment do change with the trends, but not a trend I will follow.

Now back to the topic of the thread. Obama's use of 'sweetie' was very inappropriate due to the venue. It is very unprofessional and demeans professional ladies to be called 'sweetie' in public. It is now time to hold Obama up to the same standard he demands of others.
