"Apathy" for War Protesters...
This Story is quite revealing. War protesters frustrated by apathy
Three protesters, a half-dozen signs and a missing petition.
"People walk past and say, 'I'm glad you're doing something,' " said Marty O'Malley, a Forest Hills council member who has attended more than 100 anti-Iraq war events, as he stood in front of Democratic U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle's Downtown office last week with the small gathering of activists.
They haven't a clue just how useless they're seen by the rest of us.

THAT boys & girls is about to change. They will see their kids cut down, they will be hungry, they will see their lives turned inside out by the police state as it gains greater control over them, then you'll see them fighting mad.

40 years ago US military members urged us to "understand what was at stake in Vietnam" with equal urgency. The doomsday scenarios posed over losing Vietnam never materialized.
I agree how useless they look in relation to a rogue government that has siezed democracy with a WMD authoritarian regime.
Side note:
When one says "You Are" in contracted form it is spelled "You're" - NOT - "Your". Thanks.

You mean outside of something like 6 million civilian deaths in Vietnam and Cambodia.

I can't account for Khmer Rouges insanity, but the doomsday domino theory never happened. Russia collapsed on its own 15 years later.
I hate phony American jingos who ignore the US was quite content murdering Iraqi babies with a cruel embargo. Or backing death squads in Central America.

Sure it did, Laos and Cambodia. We managed to stop it at Thailand.
As for the USSR. A few more colonies, and they might have lasted a bit longer, plus you can't count on stupidity like their invasion of Afghanistan or our luck at having Reagan.
