For reference, the 4th Amendment: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
What did Scalia say?
Since Phones, Computers, Typewriters, PDAs, spring mattress Beds, etc ... didn't exist when the US Consitution and Bill Of Rights was written, so they are not protected against US Government Spying, Wire Tapping and Photography.
So all communications, papers and effects, what you do in bed, what you say on the phone, etc is not Private and is NOT covered by the 4th Amendment.
That is what Scalia described as a strict interpretation of the US Constitution that Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito believe in.
Plus, some of those same Justices believe that the Constitution allows States to have States Supported Religion. That's right, they say only the Federal Government is prohibilited from a states supported Religions.
We have 5 Catholic Supreme Court Justices and all the legal and illegal immigration is Mexican=Catholic, so the Pope is your next religious leader.
