To that end I have decided to launch an e-mail to try to convince people who are thinking of not voting to vote for me in the next election, to write in my name, Kenneth G. Poole. If we, the people, do not act now to change the direction of our country we will continue to get more of the same in the quality of the candidates.
As I am uncomfortable asking for your precious vote without telling you about myself. I am a staunch conservative. I find that just as the Democratic party left Reagan, the Republicans are leaving me. I hope to wrest the party back from RINOs , people who cannot or will not stand by their principles such as McCain. I know there is good and evil in the world, 9/11 showed us both. Islamic terrorist flying planes into the WTC and the Pentagon is definitely evil. The policemen and firefighters running INTO the WTC showed us the good. I believe that the Federal government has betrayed the covenant between the people and the Federal government. It is Americans that make this country great and not the Federal government and it is time for us to get the government out of the way of becoming a more perfect Union. I think the reason for the opposition to tax reform is that there would be a tax revolt if the people ever figured out just how much we actually pay. For example, Warren Buffett's secretary making $60,000 a year pays 30% off the top to the government and then everything purchased averages 22% imbedded taxes, so half the secretary's income if eaten up by taxes. We need to clear out the illegals so the States can focus on educating American children. In order to make this a more perfect Union I have worked up a unique platform that I think both liberals and conservatives would agree upon.
First, I would work with Congressman to pass into a law tying reelection to maintaining a balanced budget without ANY tax increases. Also a comprehensive review of all the programs needs to be done to eliminate many and limit many others. So that we can lower taxes for all Americans.
Second, there Federal government is exceeding inefficient and needs to be made efficient. No budget should be signed into law until the Congress has removed ALL of the their pork. Measures need to be put into place to stop the fraud, waste, and abuse.
Third, illegal immigration MUST be stopped and illegals DEPORTED. We need our products to be made in an America, by Americans. If we had to fight another World War right now we would be in serious trouble due to our lack of manufacturing and lack of producing domestic oil.
Fourth, we must demand that our trading partners met all of our pollution and safety standards at the work place as well of all of our product safety standards.
In summary the Federal government MUST become good stewards of our money and all politicians should be automatically kicked out of office if they are not. It is also time to end the massive amounts of illegal immigration which is lowering the standard of living for Americans.
If you are not pleased with the choices that exist for president then please vote for me instead of not voting. Voters who will not compromise our principles would be better served by writing in someone who has no chance of winning that not voting at all. I had contemplated voting for a fictional character, but I figured a real person, a genuine conservative would be better. So again I ask for your vote. I gladly accept all Democrat voters as well as I know we all share the same vision for American and differ solely on how we are to get there.
Sincerely,
Kenneth Gregory Poole
If I could get every voter who did not like the Three Stooges running I would win the election in a landslide.

The Feds would have you either killed or jailed in a second flat... If you even remotely stood a chance on your obviously good qualities and Common Sense.
Take care.

Being the best does not mean it cannot be better. Remember when a 386 was the best computer? Then a 486. Followed by a pentium. You get the point, there is always room for improvement.
Obama is NOT able to improve our nation. The only changes he will bring is that there will be a racist in the Whitehouse with racist advisors. There will be a huge push from him to make us into a socialist country which would be a serious downgrade making us hope he would only be in for four years.

Keep in mind,,,the Liberal Dems aren't after "improving" America. Their history is one of burning our Flag, not saluting it...
Take Obama and his Wife for instance...He's on record as one that refuses to show anything other than contempt for our Flag. His Wife just got thru saying "The only time I've ever felt any pride for America, is during these Primaries."
She never felt anything previously...

Sunday Morning gather the family up and sit around the computer, turn the volume way up high and listen to this "Reverend" give a sermon on Obama.

"There are misunderstandings on both sides," the Illinois senator said. "We cannot solve the problems of America if everytime somebody somewhere does something stupid, that everybody gets up in arms and forgets about the war in Iraq and we forget about the economy."
On Tuesday, Obama's rival for the Democratic nomination, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, weighed in directly, saying: "I think that given all we have heard and seen, he would not have been my pastor."
The controversy began earlier this month when videos of Wright sermons surfaced, including one in which the pastor shouts "God damn America" for its treatment of minorities.
Wright has said the U.S. government invented AIDS to destroy "people of color" and has also suggested that U.S. policies in the Middle East and elsewhere were partly responsible for the 2001 terrorist attacks on New York and the Pentagon.
In a highly publicized speech last week, Obama sharply condemned Wright's remarks and the preacher's refusal to acknowledge progress in race relations. But he refused to repudiate his longtime spiritual mentor, saying he could no more disown Wright than he could disown his white grandmother
I'll bet his GrandMa doesn't much care for him either.

You may be a "realist", but your above post is not accurate. I heard Obama say that "of course he was aware of Wrights comments, he did not agree with them, and he thought them wrong in content & wrong in spirit."
Over the years, I have heard some really stupid things said in church, and some were down right hateful and very un-Christian; some were mean & judgemental, but I just laughed and ignored these, and I still go to the same church.
Like John McCain, I have even listened to Preacher Hague's radio sermons; but I think it rediculous when he claims God sent Katrina & AIDS because America dosen't outlaw homosexuals: I think such a statement is mean-spirited and ignorant, but some of the other things Hague has said I find thought provoking. (Good reason to keep Church matters seperated from matters of State.)
For heavens sake, Pastor Wright said these stupid hateful things: not Obama who happens to be half white: lets get on with it, and discuss revelant issues: and when we do, lets try to get the facts correct. ...pjwky

....and yet he still remains his pastor(spiritual advisor).....nice!!!!
Kind of like choosing a blind person to lead a lost group to safety.
