New Political Party In Conn!
So the latest is that Joseph Leiberman will run not as Dem, Ind, or Rep...
drum role, please...but under...
The "CONNECTICUT FOR JOE LEIBERMAN" Party...
Meawhile, back at the ranch...
There is a new bill in the state legislature for Conn they are trying to pass NOW, called the 'Sore Loser Bill' that would prohibit anyone from running under the heading of a new party if you have lost in the primary. Rightfully so, people are pretty pissed about this...especially a lot of Dems because Leiberman is handing it to the Reps all because of ego. Leiberman is now saying he "is carrying out the will of the voters, he is doing this for them."
WHAT IS HE DOING FOR THEM?! I am a Dem but this guy is as big an idiot I have ever seen come out of any political party. The jack-ass is not even thinking about how close the votes are in the Senate and how his own party needs those. Guess it does not matter to him, what a fool.

Kicking Joe Lieberman out of the Democratic Party cost the Democrats a seat in the Senate. Lamont will not win in November. It is the activists that vote in the primaries. The normal people will vote in November, there will be some Republican crossover votes for Joe and Lamont will lose.

This is why the Republican party wins. The Democratic party can't even stand together.

Yeah, and he figured it out...
All of us on here like to say our country is going either Communist or Facsist (speculate about a party and platform, direction, etc etc)...but Leiberman is a genius and figured it out, he split the difference!
Well know great campaign slogans as seen through Murphy's Law...
Cuba for Castro!
Germany for Hitler!
Connecticut for Leiberman!
MURPHY'S LAW
If you can't win on the ticket of the party then you become the party itself!
All the greatest of leaders do this of course!

I got it this will solve Connecticuts problem. Lets splice Lieberman and Lamont together to get Liebermont the ultimate politician.

That is so hard to fathom that this would be able to do anything in such short of a time. Wouldn't you have to have a 2/3rds vote and then a waiting period for it to be state law? You might have to change the Conn State Constitution to make it happen...wouldn't you?
