Default John Edwards has double digit leads ...

in polls against ANY Republican candidate. Obama has big leads over ANY Republican candidate. The Republicans' only hope is a Clinton/McCain match-up. There will be huge Republican crossover as long as Obama and Clinton are not the Dem candidates.

There's only one message here. A lot of Republicans are, most assuredly, racists and misogynists. Must be that old time religion, eh?

Hi George,

Once again you manage to make me laugh. Thanks!

The last two Democratic presidents have come from the south. Edwards is the man who can win, I don't know why the majority of Democrats aren't looking at it that way.

Well, first of all, according to the polls I just looked at Edwards is up 4% obn Giuliani, and that was a compilation of several polls put together (mainstream polls). Secondly, as long as a Republican is within five percent they may well be doing OK. I remember in 2000 when polling had Gore winning in Alabama. I mean seriously, Alabama! Like he ever had a chance there, but the thing is, the pollsters ask the people who they are voting for and they always seem to go to urban places where the Democrats have an advantage.

You are having trouble reading the message George. The message is that the Democrats are too stupid to actually nominate the person who gives them the best chance of winning, and that would be Edwards.

Maybe the pollsters should ask the questions at a place of business, instead of a welfare office?

Because he could not carry his home state the last go around...sotherners don't like liberal trial lawyers who pay $800 for haircuts and charge $50,000 for speeches on poverty. Edwards has no chance.

Hell the Libs love the Kennedy's, and they have been shiting on them for 50 years. Some people love abuse.

>>>I don't necessarily look for the man who can win, but I'd be satisfied with John Edwards.

>>>Obama and Hillary would ALSO win against any Republican (with the aforementioned exception of Hillary/McCain). If Obama has a good chance of beating Udi or anybody else, why would I be in a hurry to support Edwards over Obama? Btw, I like both of those guys, with a slight edge to Edwards.
