No, of course not. They don't see dem or pub, they see a greedy, faithless hedonist culture out of control. They see a country that has, for generations now, meddled in their governments for no other reason than to better their own lot in political life. Ask either of them about the CIA... bet you get an earful and then some. You act as though we have never done anything bad to these countries. Hey, if you think I'm any happier with our leadership in this country you are wrong. I don't hail to any damn leaders. I know they are out for themselves and their cronies. But, I'm also not going to sit here and bow to Iran and Venezuela like you fools.

They aren't asking us to bow to them, they are asking us to LEAVE THEM THE FUCK ALONE!!! The funny thing is, they are better informed about the neo-con agenda than most americans. Hell most anyone outside of America knows it better. So in that regard, perhaps a different prez would fair a little better, but from their experience... not much chance of that. Throughout the last hundred years, no matter what party had control in America, they were getting royally screwed by the US. Iran is NOT a real threat, nor is Venezuela.

Islamics fundies will not ally with athiests regardless of convience they are far to extreme for that. Associating Chaves with The Iranians is a more fear mongering. They want to geet that white hat black hat thing going.

This might be true but for the fact that I believe Chaves, and nealry his entire country is Catholic. I personally know aetheists who are as rabid capitalist as they come, and communists (russia) that were very devout orthodox Christian.

Don't be in such a rush to demonize our enemies that you condemn us all.

IMHO, their vocal hostility towards us is, if not justified, then completely understandable given our involvement with their countries for most of the last century.

Is messing with our economy fair game? Hell yes. Live by the sword, die by the sword and let no tear be shed. In six short years, we took the best economy we had in several generations, the good will of nearly the entire planet, and the faith and trust of the American people, and flushed it. We are the destroyers of our own economy, so if we were stupid enough to let the dollar fall to such a position, then... game on...
