No. Actually, I don't have insurmountable problems with Chavez...but the nut job? He's whacked....
But they are leaders of their respective countries. Countries make trade agreements...that in itself is not sinister to me.

Well, first of all, neither of them has one, and second, it would mean immediate retaliation of the biblical kind. It's not difficult to determine where nuclear material was mined and processed. And they both know this.

It amazes me how vehemently some folks defend either party as if they are brethren or something, when none of these elitist s.o.b.s gives a shit about you... just your vote. 90% of there term is spent finding ways to make their corporate friends money at the expense of the working American.
But when campaign season comes around, suddenly you are the most important person on the planet. Then you vote, they don't even say thank you, and go right back to sticking it to us for the money and power brokers.
Democrat or Republican, it doesn't matter, they are united behind closed doors and feign opposition for the cameras. They are all working for the same people, and it ain't you or I.

I wasn't trying to turn this into a partisan issue. My point was that both of these "leaders" are so upset with Bush (calling him a devil, etc.). I'm just wondering if a dem. prez will change their feelings about the U.S. What do you think?
Hey, if you think I'm any happier with our leadership in this country you are wrong. I don't hail to any damn leaders. I know they are out for themselves and their cronies. But, I'm also not going to sit here and bow to Iran and Venezuela like you fools.
