As far as regime change, there are several operatives from the Reagan/Bush Era funding theocratic opposition freedom fighters. These guys have been in the business since Ford, they do it well, or at least they are good at not getting caught, ... no wait... they've all been caught before,... they're good at not going to jail. Anyway, that is the Neo-Con plan for Iran as far as I can tell.
Just some food for thought, and mind you, I'm not the most media savvy here, but is it me, or are things awfully quiet concerning any coalition for invading Iran?

The USAf is not untouchable. Both nations can have a bite. Lots of tech is overplayed by the media and nothing is foolproof. Ther Serbians even shot down a couple American planes. To spend money to bomb something would need to be achived. Just killing them wouldnt do it. I dont think theres enough resistace in IRan to overthrow the current goverment. Theres also the Putin factor. Hes pretty much insane. What will he do if theres more fighitng...? Hes dangerous enough now. The Isrealis will deal with the Syrians on there own time. They dont play well with others and will go it alone no doubt.

They are not all that mysterious. There are at least 14 permanent bases on Iraq. We may not have a choice. At some point China is gonna take it huge army and decide they have the manpower AND the technology to do what it wants and then all hell will break lose. The only reason China has not done more military action already is because they would also have to deal with Russia, who really hates China too.
If Obama wins the election watch for Taiwan to be swallowed up by China. Bush has done us a favor by proving our high tech military works and often works better than expected but Bush has hurt us by cutting our military to the bone and bogging us down in Iraq. China sees our weakness and with the right (wrong) guy in office they will exploite that weakness. You can probably say good bye to Taiwan. |
