Looks like we found the "unknown author" right here on this thread:
I'd tell him to go back to sleep, but one must first wake up to do so...

I agree.
I think American's have fallen for the Swiftboat style attacks that have torpedoed some pretty good politicians in the past.
The front runners in either major party will just continue the disaster we have been living the last 7 years.

Ron Paul, as a Presidential candidate would be lucky to draw the 13 electorial votes received by Walter Mondale, in 1984. In fact he would probably fair no better than Ross Perot, in 1996.

Third party candidates need to be more above board and mainstream to be a viable alternative. Otherwise, they'll won't get the votes needed for campaign funds, even.

Have you even read the Party platform? The only thing wrong with the Libertarian Party right now is it allows anarchists into it's party.
As if Republicans do not have there own.
The John Birch Society Full of Republicans
Mike Badnarik was interviewed by a UFO researcher and the bases for the whole interview was Badnarik's distaste for Government Secrecy. Your trying to paint him as something he is not. You fail, idiot.
He specifically said in that interview that he did not beleive Aliens where visiting the Earth. But rather he was fascinated by the subject philosophicaly.
Do you even research your own links?

Cause the media tells me so.
I've got news for ya... if he gets the republican nod to run (not likely) you'll see way better results than either of those two and would most liekly win.
If he is forced to run as an independent, which he says he will not do... he may still walk away with the office.
What you are seeing in the media polls is not representitive of the actual numbers. Most polls are conducted though cold calls. That is... phone calls. How many people do you know under thirty that still have land lines? I know ONE! Since there is no published list of cell phone numbers, reaching this demographic is difficult.
What you are about to see is a ground swell of support which will not be derailed by business as usual politicking... for one very simple reason...
We already know what to expect from the "established" parties during a campaign season.
Are you cogniscent enough to realize that most people are god damn fed up with business as usual? A vote for either of the traditional parties is a vote to continue the destruction of America and the approval of foreign hands in our monetary system
Quite being a coward and stand up for our constitution and our republic.

No, it's called seeing Libertarians campaigning for...
1. The confederate flag to remain on the GA flag.
2. These Libertarian Neo-Confederates protesting with said flag at one of the oldest Black colleges in the USA (in Neo-Confederate gear even), proclaiming it was about "history not hate" (BS).
3. Rallying around Republicans to get Sonny Perdue elected, based nothing but on that damn flag.
Seen too much of Libertarians; their hate; their wishy-washy ideology all right in my own backyard -- no media needed.

Get it through those blinders, SATV: what I know of the Libertarian party is from watching their antics in my own backyard. Wouldn't trust them with anything, nor rally around their Kooky flag and rhetoric. Not only do they preach hate, they want to spread it, and also break the Law of this country (especially with illegal drugs...can you imagine the "history not hate" campaign of Billy Bob in 1864 butternut, toking a joint, and proclaiming "slavery wasn't cruel"? Well, that's the Kook-Aid of said Libertarians!!).
