Okay let's see, I'm not a 'liberal.' I'm a born-again, spirit-filled believer who votes Democrat and does not abuse the words in the Bible to try to dissuade God's innocent lambs that 'Jesus Christ is one with George Bush and the Republicans.'
However, the many reasons I vote Democrat is because they fight for the poor and wage earner (middle class) of which the Bible repeatedly states 'God is the father of' (Psalm 12:5; 68:5;82:3; Mal. 3:5; Lev. 19:13; etc.).
Whereas the Republicans fight for the rich elitist tyrants at the expense of the poor of which God is against (Jas. 5:1-6).
As for the 'war is hell' comment I quoted, well, I didn't quote it because that righteous Union General stated it, rather, because it is fact. Besides, the 'southerners' he was rightly bringing down by 'any means necessary' were themselves terrorists enemies to the United States. They were as they are so named 'rebels' from hell who got what they deserved since they enslaved and did a billion fold the evil to enslaved black humanity in their midst. At least, their elitist rich did it and since the masses of white terrorists rebels sided with them they reaped what they of their own free-will sowed.
Bottom line, whatever the 'left' as you put it, policy was, they did not let Osama Bin Laden live to taunt Americans to this very day with threats of 'doing it again' rather it is George Bush who has repeatedly told us, 'he is the power and makes the decisions no matter who doesn't like it' remember?
