The kids and husband want to get 4 wheelers when we move to NC. I don't know if we'll have enough riding room, though.

it's a 1973 YAMMAHA 500 8 valve DOHC with titanium valve seats.

4 stroke with twin carbs....LOTS OF INTAKE AND EXHAUST ;-)

I'll probably have to put it back together before I can get rid of it :-I

and then I'll be TEMPTED ta ride it :-O

It's street rocket.....a little heavy for using as a dirt bike......But I have driven it down a deer trail or three back in the day :-I

I even hauled a deer out of the woods on it one archery season.....sittin behind me.....Bungee corded to the sissy bar with his front legs wrapped around my neck and tied in front of me :-)

I even passed a few cars on the Scottsburg/Groveland road on the way home.......:-)

I always wondered what those people thought

THOSE THINGS ARE A LOT OF FUN......and up in the California mountian tops.......when you're cutting new roads with a dozer.....they're kind of an essential tool for getting from site to site before the new roads are rocked in and graded :-)

My nephew PJ and all the kids his age down there have THOUSANDS of miles of four wheeler trails down in those mountains........but some of those trails would scare you shitless

(-::-)

I miss riding. I grew up on a snowmobile in Michigan. Always rode. I miss it.

Welcome to one of the ATV riding centers of the U.S.,I don't know about the trail's up in N.C. but in the upstate of S.C. it is fun as all hell. If you ever need some one to work on them look me up.

Those deer are tricky, got to be careful when one jumps out in front of you there is always a few more waiting behind ready to dart out front.
