and I admit.....I've FIRED some people who'd accumulated a few too many ICARS in thier files :-I

BUT.......( i hated filling them fucking things out).......SO.......I would gather ALL the floor machinists who had anything to do with the process of making such a PART.....explain to them what I was seeing as the ROOT CAUSE......then ask them for IDEAS...in writing ;-)...on how to never let this thing GO WRONG AGAIN ( i'm simplifying)

AND it seems if you can get 10 brains working on a single aspect of a problem......you usually get 10 different ideas :-(

BUT EVERY ONCE IN A BLUE MOON WHILE.........SOMEBODY WOULD COME UP WITH AN IDEA.......THAT WAS BETTER THAN WHAT I HAD IN MIND :-)

and that's what would wind up in the correction portion of the ICAR (Internal Corrective Action Report ;-)
