THIS STORY KINDA REMINDS ME OF THE AWE POND :-(
True Story :-i

I had a Canadian Goose for a pet when I was a kid.
I was up crossets creek one day and came across a road squashed goose.....and some squshed babies :-(
Later on in life I aquired some possoms in a similar fashion :-)
that's a differnt story :-)
BUT TWO WERE STILL ALIVE........you wouldn't believe how far I had ta chase those little fuckers......BUT I CAUGHT EM BOTH.......and had em in a cage for a few weeks.......then came out one morning and found one of em dead in the water dish :-(
I always suspected the other one of doing it.........I MEAN REALLY......how does a duck drown.......inna water bowl ........pretty suspicious
ANYWAY......I named the remaining one PING PONG.......which eventually got changed to KING KONG........after he got big n MEAN......and Mom n Dad...."HE'S GOTTA GO"
so we took him to some rich guys horse farm that had ponds and other ducks n geese and even a pair of SWANS :-)
Now there was two ponds right next to each other......and the Swans had one all to themselves.......and the ducks were all over in the other pond......but ping pong.....he goes and jumps right into the Swan Pond and goes swimming over to greet them...........BUT THE SWAN APPARENTLY DIDN'T APPRECIATE THAT AND STARTED BEARING DOWN SWIFTLY TOWARDS PING PONG...........WHO STOPS HIS ADVANCE AND STARTS BACKPEDDALING :-)
when he finnally gets it........that these Swans .ARE NOT FRIENDLY........he turns around and starts running across the water flapping his wings for all he's worth.........WITH THESE HONKING SWANS RIGHT ON HIS ASS.........one of the funniest damn things ya ever saw
anyway......Ping Pong had never flown before........OH , I TRIED TO TEACH HIM jumping off the roof onto a trampoline with him and fling him off......show him other birds flying.....but he wasn't impressed or motivated enough and WAS kinda fat :-O
BUT WITH THOSE ANGRY SWAN SWOOPIN DOWN ON HIS.........HE FINNALLY FOUND THE MOTIVATION TA GET AIRBORN.........and he climbed and climbed......and circled the farm from WAY up there....then headed straight north.....it was then I realized...........I was never gonna see him again.
