There is too much hate and intolerance in the world. When a person immigrates, legally, or illegally; and brings their hate with them, they are perpetuating the violence, and mistrust. They are in the wrong and are not trying to help make the world a better place. How can humanity so easily hold hate and "human" aspirations. Self empowerment to judge others is a dangerous and difficult thing to control. Either we as individuals strive to understand the inequities in the treatment of others and choose logic and reason in dealing with the world or we can count ourselves as being among the detractors. It is not necessary to actually physically harm another to be a perpetrator in the spreading of the things we do not admire in others we call hate mongers The first place change is needed we are the closest to, ourselves. Then we can progressively deal with the real problems in humanity. Of course that would have to include all others in the world, which is probably not achievable. But without a starting place, things only get worse. Cursing and disrespect for each other is the grist mill of hate and violence. My long point is that only you and I can, as individuals in dealing with each other, achieve our own micro cosmos of civility and cooperation. Hopefully over time there will be enough of such micro cosmos to have a healing effect upon the world. "But I am a dreamer". R8DMarshall
