NOW......Like MY Father...and Grandfathers......I taught my kids to shoot and play guitar as soon as they were big enough to hold them without assistance.......both of them are exellent shots..:-)

But the older Son....Shawn.....that one in Hawaii right now......He never did take to the six string.....but took up the Base and Keyboards.....There's nobody like him on keyboards...and he's got his own litlle band but they play that RAP stuff :-I

oh well.

AND KEVIN the younger son.....He inherited his Granfathers long fingers and can reach across 6 frets without moving his hand :-O

and I used to study and play a lot of his stuff......But for the life of me.....I can't remember his name or the name of his band......but one of his songs was called "FAST WAY" :-)

Boy you crazy .....Sounds like your family/children have some talent.

My son started playing guitar last fall & he is a natural. He still needs the capo for some songs, even w/ his very long fingers. I love to hear him play. I just love music, especially live music.
My favorite band will be in Nashville this spring, & I can’t wait ti hear them live.

As for that song “Fast Way”, I’ll ask my brother about that, he’s a classic music buff.

My Brother Micheal is the real musical talent in the Family....He can sing, play lead gutar like you wouldn't believe, keyboards, base, drums, steel guitar, banjo, mandolin, Harp.....if it made noise he could play it.

I'm the Jack of all trades.....and was allways known as "THE GOOD ONE" of the Family.....But the truth is......I just never got caught :-)

The stuff this guy did was anything but Classical.....I recorded him once at a nightclub up in buffalo and had a hell time trying to mimick his playing.....HIS NAME is right on the tip of my tounge......it'll come to me.......His stuff was kinda dark.......But THAT DUDE should get the credit for being the FATHER of hammer-on /Pull-off style guitar :-)
