I wathced Meet the Press, CBS Sunday Morning and am currently watching The Week with George Stephanopolis Republicans like George Will, Senator Graham (R), John Harwood (Conservative Columnist) and a multitude of Republicans, including the SecDef, are condeming what happened.
For you, blue, it may be a partisan thing. For most of us it's a HUMAN thing. So you politisize it and move on. We'll help first...then politisize it.
Oh, BTW were's the evidence that the Dem's cut Military Funding?

Above links provide PROOF that the General in charge of Walter Reed Hospital and the Secretary of the Army both quit because they fucked it up.
For someone that has eyes to see and a mind to reason with, it concerns me that you confuse facts and fiction.
FACT: heads are rolling because people screwed our VETS. Either side of the aisle THIS MUST STOP.
FICTION: the Dems cut funding...PROVE ME WRONG! WHERE DID THE DEMS CUT MILITARY FUNDING???

Lady, if you could reign in the likes of Gix, Kix, Still Dizzy, LookAgain and the multitude of other Con's that seek to divide I'd take your comments to heart. But seriously Lady, look at some of the posts here. Between the Hate brewed by your side and that of my side (THT and IHTNR) our two sides are divided.
Also I'd like to quote George Will here "We went into a war we weren't prepared to fight." Bush did this. I believe that he's partially to blame for this problem.
Are you saying you wouldn't pile on if this was Clinton? Lady, I've read some of your posts, if it's about something bad about the military on one side and Democratics on the other people better duck because you come in swinging. But now that it looks like the Republicans are at fault you're willing to "talk" about it first.
If you want fairness let's be fair, ok?

It's past and present generations and administrations that are to blame. It's just sad that the Democrats are acting like "My ice cream is better than your ice cream." The Republican party didn't form until the 1930's. So, who's the parent and who's suppose to be leading by example? I am not liberal, political correct, or a Democrat, but I don't scream it at the top of my lungs every second of every hour of every day.

One more post, In their haste to defund the war effort, most, apparently don't understand, that the very funds of which they speak are tied directly to the VA system. It all falls under the military budget, and once the funds have been succured from the house, it is up to the EX. Branch to manage them.....But it's hard to decide, which to I do, spend the money on the troops in harms way or those in need back home? Who is responsible for having to make such a decision? Again, don't urinate down my leg and tell me it's just raining.....with your great intellect I'm sure you can carry this into another direction...off on some great leberial tangent....but I have no choice, but, as to wonder where your ture loyalities lie....
The funds are broken and seperated as which goes where, but again, the EX Branch is responsible for the management of the funds in their entirety. BD

Nor do I and you know that.
But so many R's do scream at the top of their lungs that "WE TAKE CARE OF THE TROOPS AND THE DEMOCRATS ARE AGAINST THE MILITARY!" So when the R's fall flat on their face D's are going to point it out. As I showed above, even R's are saying that this is wrong. It is a Republican failure because the Republican Administration said that they were "ready" for war, they weren't - which is what Democrats said in 2003!
Just as you would point out a Democrat failure, I pointed out a Republican one. Why can't you just admit that the R's in the Bush Administration, the ones that loved the military (as opposed to the Dem's that Republicans claim hate the military) failed the military? Let's face the truth, punish those responsible (which is what's happening) and help these men. But when people ask who's fault it is, it's the Bush Administrations! They had 45 MONTHS of the War and SIX YEARS of total control of the Government to help the V.A. and Walter Reed...they didn't.
They found money for other things, find money for this!

- FACT: The Dem's have been in control of the House and Senate for less then two (2) months - it's not possible for that amount of harm to be done in two months.
- FACT: YOU have yet to show any links to anything where funding has been cut.
- FACT: Dem's TALKED about cutting funds, BUT DID NOT CUT ANYTHING!!!
So where's your proof, bluedog? You have none. NO FUNDS HAVE BEEN CUT!!

Walter Reed has been a dump at least since 1993. Prior adminstrations didn't fix it then, either.
