Hey you know what would stop all this bullcrap? Make every able bodied person, women and men, have a four year civil commitment to the government in exchange for a college education. No exceptions, no deferrment under any conditions, with the exception of physical and mental handi-cap. Senator's, sons and daughters, congessmen and all others included without exception. If they object under religious reasons, let them serve in the states, just make all serve. Changes would be made, quick. I am not speaking of a draft. Just make it law, you must serve, without exception after your 18th birthday, no college deferments, everyone serves. That would make an attitude adjustment on a bunch of chicken hawks. What's fair for one is fair for another. Just a thought, I know this will never take place. BD

The VA budget always "Floats"...and is cut or expanded according to NEED..I`m glad these people people have a crystal ball of the future..with a hell of a lot less casualties than the vietnam war the budget will be fine.

Really, there's nothing more you can say. Bush is the evil that connects us with Star Wars. He's the missing link to the Dark Force.

I'm not talking quality, they can choose the best form that bunch, I'm just saying, let'm all get their ass in the grass one time. I'ts not a nice view form that point. I also was one of the last group of draftees. But that's not what this is about, that was a totally unfair system. BD

Jody reallly you believe the budget "floats" and that less money will be "fine" because of less casualties. We have more disabled veterans because we are saving people in the field after their limbs are blown off. That requires MORE money than if they died!
