Iran is the equivalent of a child poking a dog through it's cage. They know we are 'contained' in Iraq and are doing their best to capitalize on our preoccupation. Afterall, nobody wants WWIII and even if they attacked first, we would be seen as the bad guy. Meanwhile they continue to threaten the people of Israel and the US, proclaiming their desire for our destruction. Not to mention kicking the IAEA out and supplying aid to Hezbollah. I guess their OK, once you get past the murderous nature of their intent. Bottomline though, none of this is enough to start WWIII. We need to end their tantrums peacefully.

I must disagree concerning deployment of F-22's.

I don't think we wish to risk losing one over enemy soil- too many secrets in the technology. But this is simply my guess. I think we need to save them for some enemy that more evenly matches our conventional forces.

Our troops would benefit since they would not have to fight Iranians, Iranian trained insurgents or face the Iranian weapons that are finding their way into Iraq. But then, you don't care about the troops do you? Since they volunteered to fight Bush's illegal war and all of that tripe.
