In the latest attempt to link the deadliest form of roadside bombs in Iraq to components manufactured in Iran, U.S. Army officers on Monday displayed plastic explosives they said were made in Iran and recovered during a raid recently in violence-racked Diyala Province.

An Army explosives expert said the C-4 plastic explosives were used to make lethal bombs that the military calls explosively formed projectiles. The explosives were found alongside enough bomb-making materials to build 150 EFPs capable of penetrating heavily armored vehicles, according to the expert, Maj. Martin Weber.

gix, do you think that since CNN reported this, it will be considered factual that Iran is arming the insurgency?

Congress will use this as another reason to pull our "military" out of Iraq and then sit on their asses until long after Iran moves in to take control. Then they'll sit on their asses a little bit longer while figuring out how they can put more democrats in Congress, the Senate and the White House... Then they'll all sit on their asses a little longer..

The point being, this won't make any difference in any of their plans because their plans from the beginning were to declare the war lost, buy votes, get elected and then sit on their asses.

Once you guys are done slurping up your talking point stupidity. I'll let you in on a few 'real' world facts. As of Sunday Sy Hersh was on the talk shows with the revelation that we that's right the US has been funding al qaeda & the Sunnis/ Insurgents in Iraq.
That in reality Iran has been relatively low key in their funding. Doing actually a diversified portfolio of investments as it were, in different Shitte groups including the side of oh God get this, the Iraqi Government! Yup the Iranians are against al qaeda & the insurgents & we are for training the Sunnis who then turn on us & kill our own soldiers. Then on top of that we throw money around like candy & it ends up funding death on our own soldiers.

Yet you guys want to make Iran the enemy when the enemy is this insular Cult that's taken over the White House & the fact that this cult funds the very people killing our soldiers. On top of that you unthinking cattle open your little dinosaur brains every morning & insert the talking points from this same Cult group that's basically trying to kill everyone except their little selfish cabal, then like the good little trained monkeys that you are, you parrot them.
You guys just suck it up because it doesn't require REAL questioning or thought, just pass the Kool aide.

I saw something like this too but I don't know who this Hersh guy is and what makes him plausible.
