Media can not be trusted that is why their stories need to be checked out and researched. They are in the "business" of making money. Media's are corporations and corporations are in business to make money and nothing more, and if a news media bring's in the ratings, viewers, listeners, and readers then it is making money. They will do what it take to get more people to listen, watch, and read them just so they can make more and more money.
It is all about money folks.

Can Lookagain explain how the rollback of CAFE standards caused diesel engines to rise expotentially? I don't doubt his post, I merely don't understand why that would be the case. It seems to me that if they loosened the standards then the manufacturers would not have had to spend as much money on new technology and therefore could either hold the line on pricing or perhaps even lower it a bit. Can Lookagain explain please?
