One of the War Party's major themes has been the legitimacy and necessity of torture. The president's lawyers have laid down an entire legal theory that redefines torture out of existence and permits acts just short of life-threatening.

The right-wing media has made a point of defending and even glorifying torture as a weapon in the "war on terrorism," with Fox's popular television series 24 even going so far as to valorize the torturer in the character of Jack Bauer. Newsweek reported, "The lawyers designing interrogation techniques cited Jack Bauer more frequently than the Constitution."

Ever since 9/11, these monsters have had a free hand to rampage over Iraq, and they threaten to do the same to Iran. But now the tide is turning…

The country has turned against the War Party, and we like to think that we've done our part to expose their methods and aims. We've been in the front lines of the battle to take back our country from those who have heaped such dishonor on it. The War Party Never Sleeps

The Iraq war has discredited the War Party, and the American public seems even less enthused about the supposed necessity of confronting Iran. The costs of the Iraq war have made Americans increasingly skeptical of overseas adventurism. Yet the warmongers among us are nothing if not adaptable, as shown by their recent shift to a new enemy: Russia.

Alarm bells are going off all over Washington: The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming! That's the new war cry we're hearing, and it's one many alleged liberals are all too likely to take up. The Cold War is back, this time in the guise of an "anti-fascist" crusade – the same old racket decked out in "liberal" drag.

We hear the same old themes and epithets, along with the all-too-familiar invocations of America's alleged duty to export "democracy" at gunpoint. And it's no surprise that the same warmongers who lied us into Iraq are now trying to entangle us in the ethnic feuds and age-old vendettas of the Caucasus.

The War Party has a new shtick, and they're running it up the flagpole, hoping that everyone salutes. To hear them tell it, Russia invaded Georgia, but Georgia didn't invade anyone. There are a few Ossetians who would dispute that, however, especially the relatives of those killed by Georgian bombs.

The mainstream media outlets tell you only what they want you to know. We, on the other hand, give you the facts straight out. You can't get that kind of coverage of foreign affairs anywhere else – but it doesn't come free.
