Obama won the democratic nomination fair and square according to the rules laid out by the democratic party. So, should he be pressured by Bill Clinton, the news medias, and Hillary to choose Hillary as his Vice President?

Or, should Obama choose whoever he is comfortable with, and truly wants on the ticket?

Hillary Clinton only has approximately 18 million staunch supporters according to the news medias, and this in realty isn't going to hurt Obama much at the voting booth-especially if Obama chooses a V.P. that is strong politically, and who is not Hillary Clinton.

I think Bill Richardson, John Edwards, or the female governor of Kansas would be great V.P.s for Obama. But, personally, I think that Hillary Clinton ran such a negative campaign that her being on the ticket with Obama will do more harm than good. I also think she would undermine anything he tried to do to improve this country, and effect positive change of any kind, so she could try and prove herself right, when she said she thought she would make a better president than Obama, and have a better chance at beating McCain in November. However, if polls are any indicator of who would do better at beating John McCain, both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are basically tied, and today, polls showed Obama beating McCain by 8 percentage points if the elections were held today.

So, with all the political bullshit aside, do you think that Obama should bow to the political pressure and put Hillary Clinton on his ticket as V.P., or should he choose who he really wants on the ticket?

No, I don't think so. Personally, I would like to see Edwards or Biden. If he wishes to pick a women, Sebilius would be good.
