An Orthodox Jew was protesting on an intersection about 10 minutes away from my house. Every day, the same thing: She holds a poster that says "End the occupation of Palestine" or "Israel is the terrorist". It's usually a peaceful thing. A week ago however, a jewish man in his late 30s walked up to her and started talking to her. My sister, a witness, said that it looked like he was also holding the poster-for a second. He ripped the poster in half, and pushed the lady in the street. Then he ran into the car and drove off. 2 boys helped her up before any cars came in and killed her. The police are still looking for the man.

Hizbullah already said that they were going to fight this war in the media. If I were in Hizbollah I would have killed her.

Of course, there is really nothing other than your words to prove it as of yet. And, it still looks like a random act of violence. There are so many things that make it look like a set up.

first of all i want to acknowledge that i put this thread in the wrong topic. i meant to put in the lobby.

second, what do i have to prove? there were 4 witnesses, counting the lady! set up? by who? she's been standing there in silent protest about 3 years along with her sister. why would you kill her if you were in hezbollah? i truly do not understand your argument

It's all about PR. If an agent from Hezbollah goes in and kills a peaceful person for speaking her mind in the name of Israel; it makes Israel look bad in the media. And, anytime Israel is made to look worse, it makes Hezbollah look better.

Also, there is the possibility that the person could have been a very Shi'ite (I think) Muslim, from what I understand they don't very well appreciate women in the streats with out headcoverings and men with them.

This is impossible for 2 reasons. The media would never try to make Israel look bad, for one thing. Also, why would Israel look bad by having a good protesting for the good of Israel die? Doesn't make much sense to me

The way I understand it, allegedly a presumably peaseful anti-Israeli protestor was killed by a presumably pro-Israeli Jew. Now, if so were the case it would be bad PR for all of Israel; sort of like Dizzy is for Americans who want to make nice with Arabs.

There is a Jewish collection of women in Jewish Palestine that call themselves Mothers in Black or something like that I don't recall, it was a radio broadcast here in Australia, that simply protest the Isreali use of force in their Isreal and beyond. So now you have two peoples word for the actions of that woman on the street.
