Explain To Me Why We Need Israel As An Ally?
The USA was in three wars. Two in Iraq and one in Afganistan. How did they help us? Were we able to use their air bases which the US taxpayers paid for. Were we able to send our wounded there. No. We had to use Saudi Arabia, which infuriated BinLaden to carry out terror attacks on the USA. We send them billions of dollars and all the latest planes and tanks free of charge. They have caused us nothing but problems. Maybe they gave us some intelligence inforamtion but for the money we send them, we can set up the greatest spy network ever assembled. Now considering what they are doing to civilians in Lebannon, there will be more terror attacks on us for allowing Israel to destroy Lebannon and its people.

Why do we need Israel as a friend? Gee I don't think we can afford any more Arab 'friends.'
Got to smile when liberals talk about "it's people." Where the hell were you when black Africans are killed, and sold into slavery by you're Muslim 'friends?'
How about Indonesia when Christian school children are beheaded by you're Muslim 'friends?'
Why don't you be honest enough to say what you really mean........You are down on ANYONE who stands in the way of world domination by the 72 virgin crowd.

Hey, Still Dizzy.....Bush is a Republican with strong ties to the Arab world Clinton never had....never was in business with the royal family like the Bush's nor with the bin Laden family like the Bush's. How about we leave the Limbaugh hypocrisy out of this a just play what it real and honest?
Now, you can always tell a flaming evangelical conservative republican by the way the toss the word "muslim" around with all the terrorists attacks from the extreme taliban practices of islam....you were aware Bush's good friends and business partners, the self-couped royals of Saudi were funding these guys, right? So, let's stop your hypocrisy and let's nip it in the bud......republicans have been sleeping with the enemy for decades....and he claims to be heteorsexual....

And you can always tell someone who is doesn't know Christianity by the way they toss around the word evangelical. Please, keep your stereotypes to the topic. I hate to see religion drug into an area where it shouldn't belong. (In that I saw nothing there that specified religion or warranting an attack on a religious group. If you're going to insult a religious group, at least make it make sense).

There is probably a thousand correct reasons why it was never expeced of the Isrealis to assist the US in the campaigns you ask about Rstarre and I don't even recognise the Independant State of Isreal. Everything from not escalating the crisis in Palestine to the probabilty that there was better service from the ships in the Gulf and Mediterranean for those actions you speak of. Now to deal with all those who jump at the opportunity to talk their crappy prose like they just recieved their daily dose of viagra and the nearest thing to them is the leg of a table. We all know what you are doing, I like to watch.

Its not possible to discuss Israel without religion coming into play!
The jews are YHWH's chosen people to tell his story thru!

58 years ago it was a land grab between the Jews, the Palestinians and the British.
Now it’s a Geo-Political time bomb with the added unknown of religious fanaticism.
Once religions became involved and those that gather under that banner believe it is the will of their “Higher Power” to destroy their enemy, then it becomes impossible to negotiate a resolution to the problem.
Just as a Christian knows the Ten Commandments are non-negotiable in the eyes of God. So do the followers of other faiths know that the will of their god is non-negotiable.

And as the most powerful nation in the world, it is our duty to facilitate the whims of YHWH?

Wasn't it somwhere in Exodus where God told Israel to kill every single Arab (their ancestors anyways) and they didn't do it? I wonder if things would have been different had they.
It makes me laugh when people argue about who's land it is. There are 2,000,000 points in time where you could say it either parties. This probably the case with most lands.
