They never wanted us there in the first place, anyone really surprised that nothing has changed and they want us to go home?
Some of us knew before this started that it was going to be a disaster....
Time to cut the losses, admit it was a huge mistake, get the regional players involved (even if we don't like them) and go home!!!!

The problem is you, I & many others think that it's our collective decision to follow this rational direction, it is not. The problem is the cabal that has confiscated the executive branch has an agenda in complete disregard for the will of the United States of America. Under Darth Cheney, they don't give a crap what we would like to see happen in Iraq. They damn well will stay there long enough to insure the dollar & the American & British petroleum giants have their exclusive 30 year contract & if they can infiltrate the other major oil fields in Iran before they leave all the better for them. The rest of us are manipulable sheople for them to use along the way & we both in the U.S. & Iraq possibly even Iran will pay the price for their complete disregard for humanity.
'Straussian' fucks.

I have these silly notions that people should take precedence over profits.....
and I know that is an affliction suffered by others as well....
You are right about this, but I don't like it one bit...so I make as much noise as I can....it sucks to know what SHOULD be happening, and be powerless to affect real change....

FOTM is, bin Laden's strategy from the get-go has been to get us to spend $1 billion dollars for every $1 he spends. And it's worked.

Well, I have to believe that fighting the good fight is the only way positive change will ever come about, even though it seems hopeless. Too many give up entirely....

>>>I think Cheney just wants a Saddam-like statue of himself erected outside the Israeli Parliament building. That and the proceeds of the deal he made with Halliburton when he gave up his stock.

Iraq will never be sustained so long as the U.S. military and Blackwater type contractors are in Iraq.
Keep dreaming Smitty.....and continue to purchase your lottery tickets.
