Wrong religion; your thinking of the Sunni with the towel on his head, the long scraggly now dyed beard, and so tall no US soldier would miss him if Bush sent them to where the terrorists are instead of where the oil is.
Iran is predominately Shia, but there are three Jews in Parliaments, required by the way, by the Constitution. That would be like the US constitution requiring that three native Americas have seats in Congress.
It is a bit funny that Bush is working to pump up his poll numbers back in Iran; his promises on the domestic front and his domestic initiatives have been as bad as Bush's. It's interesting that like Bush, he has basically trippled the price of gasoline in Iran just like Bush did in the US.
Tho actually, he's using the market to drastically reduce gasoline consumption; Iran has lots of natural gas they can't sell because of no pipelines, so he's promoting switching cars to burning natgas, like some do in the US. The difference is they actually have a surplus f natgas.

I put the tally at 0 to maybe a dozen, 0 to five or so, $ to $$$$$$$$$$$$, 0 to 1.
So on the scale of peace loving, Iran is angelic compared to the warmonger Christian-Baptist-Evangelical-Jewish-Mormon USA.

If Iran had the capabilities and the means that the US does, the world would be a far darker place. The fact that the US needs to show it's power now and again in order to keep stoneage cultures filled with radical religious zealots in check is no surprise.
Backing the lesser of evil men vying for power in these backwards countries comes as no surprise either.
Calling Iran peace loving is a joke, but I'm not laughing!
....and if the Shah of Iran wasn't such an asshole, he'd still be in power today.

As I recall the last time Americans were visiting soooo peaceful loving Iran, this same wonderful president of Iran , who was and is a radical muslim extremist, was instrumental in holding them hostage for months. We forget the past only at our peril. Keep your enemies close and your friends( if that is what he claims to be) closer is my motto. But never ever forget, and do not trust them once they have shown what they are.

the president of Iran did not either question the 9/11 attacks or the holocaust . What i heard him say and so did many others per the news is that perhaps we should look at who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks IE not Iraq or Iran and why they would want to attack us...... I agree.
He admitted the halocaust happened but again he said he has been insulted for saying that more research needs to be done into why the halocaust happened . IE what made hitler want to exterminate the Jews.
The Iranian president offered a olive branch to the christians , the jews , the world and the USA.
Did you even listen to the speech?
You should before you comment you know.

Iranian leader: Holocaust a 'myth'
TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has described the Holocaust as "a myth" and suggested that Israel be moved to Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska.
The United States, Israel and the European Commission -- along with individual European countries -- have condemned the remark.
Ahmadinejad sparked widespread international condemnation in October when he called for Israel to be "wiped off the map."
Last week, he also expressed doubt about the killing by the Nazis of six million Jews during World War II, but Wednesday was the first occasion when he said in public that the Holocaust was a myth.
"They have invented a myth that Jews were massacred and place this above God, religions and the prophets," Ahmadinejad said in a speech to thousands of people in the Iranian city of Zahedan, according to a report on Wednesday from Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.
"The West has given more significance to the myth of the genocide of the Jews, even more significant than God, religion, and the prophets," he said. "(It) deals very severely with those who deny this myth but does not do anything to those who deny God, religion, and the prophet."

Stated, by the Iranian "president" himself, in 2005 no less....
Do we REALLY need to research as to WHY Hitler did what he did?? In the killing of millions of millions of innocent jewish and christians (yes, christians as well)?? Can we just chalk it up to him being EVIL??
And yes, he has questioned the 9-11 attacks....
Why is it that people are afraid to put these leaders feet to the fire?? If they are going to make these assinine statements, they better damn well have the intestinal fortitude to back them up. Much in the same way Bush is questioned in our country (as he should) when he does stupid shit or makes the same assinine comments.
What the hell did he expect?? A tickertape parade with elephants, clowns, balloons, and finger puppets??
