Thread: the olympic torch is going by my store in an hour

The torch is scheduled to go down the street my store is on in about an hour. Am I supposed to be excited? I like the Olympics...but for some reason the torch doesn't excite me much.

Does it excite anyone?

Not really. The winter Olympics are grand. Vancouver is a beautiful city.

no. trip him up. first it was mosov, the sereavo, then bejin. next it will be soa palo. keeps getting worse as the time progresses. the end will be when its in riyad.

I was thinking about that...maybe a bucket of cold water. I'd probably make international news for a second or two if I doused it completely.

I was into the winter olympics in the 70s when I lived in Norway. My Norwegian friends made a big deal of it, maybe that's why I was into it. Since then I don't pay much attention.

Once upon a time it may have meant something honorable, now it's just a political tool. I suggest you throw some gas on it.

Its not that cool but.. If it were me, I would say, well this is something that most people in their life would never see. That makes it a lot cooler!
