And exactly what are we supposed to base our political beliefs on? Isn't religion a way to organize the way you live your life? Where does one's value system come from? Am I to be as shallow as the Surrendercratic Party and elect based on victimhood of the person running?
Anyone who attacks religion as a way to lead your life is nothing more than a 4th grader who doesn't want to be told they have to obey the rules.

Religion is a good thing. People who make millions FOR THEMSELVES from religion are con men. I hope Pat Roberson, and Billy Graham, join him soon.
I think Jesus said "Sell your posessions, feed the poor, and follow me." I missed the part about " Buy a private jet, Rolex, and wear Armani suits. "

Holy shit, Diz....we actually agree on something.....although I wouldn't go so far as to say the world is a better place because of someone's death....unless, say, that someone is Hitler, etc.

That's an accomplishment for Christianity? A strange form of the teachings of Christ! Christ taught to avoid wordly politics. Read the Bible sometime.

Well, I don't think religion and polictics mix and I sure don't think Hollywood celebrities and politics mix either, but am always interested to watch the double standards of the left. No one says a word about celebrities voicing their political opinions, but have a lot to say when a preacher does even though he's also a U. S. citizen. And nothing to say when Hillary delivered a campaign speech from the pulpit of a Southern black church trying to sound all "down home."
Wasn't a fan of Falwell's, but feel he was a sincere man and strong in his convictions.

don't you love it when atheist and non christians try to tell us what our religion means? I am sure they all believe that only they, the non believers, know what the Bible is speaking of. Only they, the non believers, know what Christ actually meant. Christians are far too stupid in their eyes to actually understand anything.
I refuse to allow someone who hates me and my religion tell me what my religion means.
