I once heard Falwell say in an interview on CNN, "let's blow them up in the name of the Lord", speaking about Muslims.

As I said earlier he incited violence and hatred in the name of Christianity, therefore giving Christianity a bad name.

I'm sure there must be a link out there on this 'quote'. Gotta link?

Religion is a good thing. People who make millions FOR THEMSELVES from religion are con men. I hope Pat Roberson, and Billy Graham, join him soon.
I think Jesus said "Sell your posessions, feed the poor, and follow me." I missed the part about " Buy a private jet, Rolex, and wear Armani suits. "

Sure, there's some 'men of God' who aren't who they pretend to be but Billy Graham is an honorable man. He's one of the very few who has my respect.

Maybe I missed the quote "let's blow them up in the name of the Lord". I sure didn't see it. I'm not a wiki fan but will accept it if the quote is footnoted.

Thanks, but I still didn't find that 'quote' in any of the links provided. If it does exist, I'd bet CNN has it since it was supose to come from one of their interviews.

Wasn't that Oral Roberts that made that statement?

I am utterly amazed at the fear and hatred so many people have of religion and God. I have no problem with anyone who can preach the word of God and have people understand and learn from his preaching.

Shame on all of you

Nate, it was Oral Roberts that did that one and he is still there. People from all walks of life make mistakes but the relegious ones nobody forgets about.
