Sometimes I feel almost surreal when I read things like that. When I was young and reading Valerie Solanis' S.C.U.M. (Society for Cutting Up Men) Manifesto, I thought it was the most outrageous thing I'd ever read....that no way would we ever see such a thing, but.......here it is. Ha! And Valerie was totally out of her mind long before she shot Andy Warhol....brilliant but nuts.
Also read once that "if we were to produce female children by and from females and we eventually ran out of men, that in 20 years women would be beating their chests and running around pinning medals on each other and blowing stuff up." So for all of you who think it would be a quieter, more peaceful world without men, give it up. Some maybe many would just end up being more butch.
When I lived in "Hippieville" South Austin, I saw a lot of bumper stickers that said, "It isn't wierd enough for me yet." Haven't seen it in a lonnnnng time.
