There are many ways to peel a Bannana, or so "They" say.. But I prefer to let it rot and turn black, and yet it still doesn't bother me, if it is on my Neighbors table.. In other words, words have no effect on me..effect on me..effect on me..effect on me....

I just can't express the thinks and thanks I have for a Forum that allows People to Police themselves to a large extent without taking the easy approach and Silencing/Banning the differing viewpoints who ARE alive somewhere, and DO breathe the same air.. I just recently finished at a Canadian site that couldn't be followed for the simple reason of OVER-Moderation and missing, deleted subject matter, and members..

I am tough skinned mentally and in temperment, and to do mental worded Touche' here and there with differing thinkers and members of this planet I may never personally meet, does give more purpose and Identity to my life.

It makes the World a little more understandable of the fluctuating mindset of those throwed-off individuals who breed like flies and are nearly as pesky..

Hummmmmmmmm no personnel attacks . Gosh about 60% of what threads I have read have them in the thread. But then one's idea of a personnel attack might be different than mine. I consider it an attack when one curses beyond normal and calls another filthy names! Or is that OK here. I started here this morning and answered one post and was called an idiot. That isn't an attack but I was defending cookie and wvpeach who had terrible things said to them because they offered different opinions. Sure a woman's opinion will differ on a topic like war. But to call her a whore, c**t and other names is an attack. So if you don't start to enforce this board please remove me from the rolls. You will know when I have had enough of this nonsense as I will delete evey post with a replacement "removed by mlurp" I come to share and learn from others not to read shuch filth. And I don't care what your terms are for attacks. Mine are simple this is a debating and sharing of ideas.
When I disagree with another I don't call them names or use filth to express my opinion.
I was so disgusted i left and went to the other two boards I share on. My time like anyones is valuable. I don't have time to read a thread that turns to what I describe above. And to hell with putting others on a list.
Do your jobs or you will lose others besides myself. The only reasons new members come here it apppears is they can get away with this crap! No I am not trying to rule out free speech. But when free speech goes so far as to call another poster these names it is to far! And they curse so badly that only one or two words make any sense. So how is that a debate or sharing?

Hey mlurp, I'm Not an Admin but I will try to address and clarify without much muck, this, as best as I can, and perhaps others of THIS Forum will follow.. First I will apologize on the behalf of every Idiot, Twerp, Stupid, Ignorant, umm... lessee, umm... Well.. ok.. What I mean to say is that many of this Forum play the game of free Speech, Talk Turkey, Cuss, Chew out and otherwise do the mental Touche' thingy, but for all the the seemingly animosity and bouncing foo-fa-raa... What's the problem? You can't handle a little forum war? Heck, this is pretty tame compared to some I've been in. But, if the atmosphere is a little less to you liking, by all means... get the hell out. No time for weenies on this board.

We had just finished a tour of the facility where Clinton nodded, as all candidates do, while officials spoke so that the cameramen wearing hard hats could film her standing among tubes and vats. (This is for B-roll that makes the candidate look engaged in local issues while the television announcer talks about her trip.) Then Clinton gave a nearly hour-long policy speech before taking questions from the audience. Nineteen-year-old Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff asked: "As a young person, I'm worried about the long-term effects of global warming. How does your plan combat climate change?"

Now we know, though, that it was Clinton's staff that gave Gallo-Chasanoff that question to ask. Which makes the senator's answer amusing. "It's usually young people who ask me about global warming," she said. Perhaps it's usually young people because in the binder where a staffer showed Gallo-Chasanoff the question for her to ask, it was under the category marked "college student."

What are we to make of the flap over the planted question? It is tempting to recline into the posture that this is a phony media-generated noncontroversy, like the questions about whether Clinton did or didn't tip an Iowa waitress (a story we must denounce as frivolous but keep milking anyway). Except that exchanges between voters and candidates are supposed to be the antidote to the failings of the mainstream media—free of all of the gimmickry and game-playing. Q-and-As by nature aren't as phony as the candidate plant tour or the planned stop at a roadside diner. They're as close as we get to an honest exchange. So, politicians should pay a price when they try to game them.
