When I place someone on ignore, it it because I have determined that nothing they say is likely to be credible, worthy of a specific response, and that they are beneath me and not worth my time.

That does not mean they don’t warrant a good bitch slap now and then

This post is a how-to for if you decide that you want to ignore all posts by a certain member. Many forums solve conflicts between members by banning one or the other, and having a policy of near-absolute free speech means that there will inevitably be people who dislike each other or find each others posts extremely offensive or annoying for whatever reason.

I think this policy best conforms to free speech because everyone is free to speak, and everyone is free not to listen if they so choose.
