The guy who has said he is running for president (not vice president) and who confused army brigades with battalions. Who referred to his Republican vice-presidential opponent as the lieutenant governor of Alaska.

Aides to Obama said that Biden's propensity to misspeak could pose problems, particularly in the vice-presidential debate on Oct. 2. They are watching his performance on the trail warily, but so far have not tried to rein him in.

"We forgive him every once in a while when he says something dumb - 'Oh, that's just Joe."'

In Fort Myers, Florida, last week, he referred to the "Biden administration," before quickly correcting himself to say the "Obama-Biden administration."

THAT Guys an Idiot! lol.. Telling a wheel chair bound State Senator to stand up in front of Thousands of people? as As the days go by there is no way you can see this any other way. Again, way out of his league when compared to Palin in world affairs. this is very scary on the foreign policy front, very scary. When compared to Palin in this respect he is way out of his league.

Can you Imagine Biden Calling Putin Blair or a Saudi King Sharon?

Obama committed political malpractice. This choice was so irresponsible of him.

Yes, the youtube of her saying these things in this context sickens me (like it does you). There is a time a place to pray for things. I recent prayed to my God (a Christian one) in a very personal way when my mom passed (have said this). I don't pray for the Univ of Tx to win FB games, or U of M to win BB games...I don't pray for a raise at work. She is full of shit and cannot even back up her own 'religiosity' when being interviewed---she tries to invoke the words of A. Lincoln, that is just crap. So how much of a religious and 'Evangelical' core does she have or does that only apply when talking to high school kids in a church?

I’m not a religious conservative & I too cringe when they make such statements, so you can see where my concern with her lies.

Have your religious based morals in life that drive you but don’t expect me or others to adhere to those beliefs and leave them out of politics!

Her statements in these regards are just inane & unfortunately that’s where the far right sit today.

Slim, his statement was out of respect for Hillary & possibly to gain some respect with scorn voters.

He was clearly horrified over his remark to Graham.

I don't attend Church but I believe in God, and I'd much rather have someone who also does in the Whitehouse, rather than a Godless person.

Biden is Religious and is Pro-choice.. Obama "Says" he is.. The way he runs on "change".. I figure if Obama gets elected he will spin and do a flip-flop on his supporters about Gay Marraige and Abortion, not to mention get us into another war or risk an Invasion by scuttling the Military and Opening his Mouth..

Biden is VERY Pro-Israel also..

I would have preferred someone more moderate, especially on the social and foreign issues. But if we’re talking women, then Jodi Rell, I like Snowe and would have even considered Dole. But we got Palin….

What’s printed on our currency has nothing to do with this topic. I’m not trying to take religion away from those that choose to practice. I don’t and will never attend Church as I’m personally against organized religion. This country is not a country of only Christians & one day people will finally have to accept this.
But you should make no mistake about this, that believing in God & practicing what God teaches are two entirely different things. A whole lot of so called “religious people” can’t & don’t adhere to that morally sound lifestyle and even use it to self promote. That’s a fact.
Now before you go off, I know there are good God fearing people out there

….but…also, some that don’t practice religion at all can be morally sound and they are just as capable of running this country.

You don’t have to Obama/Biden bash with me, I’m not voting Democrat this go around & won’t defend their platforms.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. I don’t care about their gaffes I care about their intentions. I make gaffes all the time. Some of Palin’s statements aren’t gaffes, they are scary.

I live in God's country of New England where we use the proper Queens language; and we prefer to use 25 letters of the alphabet by leaving the irritating 'r' out. For example, we will say, I pahked my cah at Havid Squaih. Further lessons on speaking proper English given upon request. To prevent further sexism with our language, I propose we change the Hershey candy bar to be called a Hishe bar.
