Of course she is not going to admit it and that is the highest of hypocrisy when dealing with the Evangelical movement, for people in this faith alignment.
We already had a President "look for answers from God" about a war in Iraq....those were the wrong answers by a longshot. I don't want someone near the oval office like this at all. Where is a good Republican (prefer a Dem though ) like Eisenhower when we need them the most. I would take GHWB again...

That’s a good observation & possibly the case & I’m sure they had all of this “well planed out” prior , but I can’t see the appeal yet….& I have never been happy with McCain....

This is funny. It is not the ABC nucular disaster, but an earlier one and attempt to correct it at the convention.
This is for you Cat because that pronunciation drove you crazy.lol
YouTube - Sarah Palin can't pronounce the word 'nuclear'.
She was pronouncing it incorrectly so they had a teleprompter for her that read new-clear to help her.

Yes I would too on the GHWB, but I'm so anti Palin/McCain at this point for this reason. Although, I don't see him as staunch in his religious beliefs, I actually see it as more of an act on his part, idk why?? So at this point she scares me more than he does...

Just lay it out there, don't be an ass---we all know that is what she believes and we have it on tape now, this did not come from a third, disconnected person like Rev. Wright, this came from HER---ya know, don't f*ck with us all on this, just admit it.

Yes, she seemed to take off in her own rapture in response to some questions. None were answered straight on or with a modicum of understanding the question or it's import. This is an untalented but dedicated politician, and ambitious in the extreme. She is scary in that when approached to be VP she says she had not a single doubt about her ability to be president, if need be.
This gal will be a nightmare in foreign relations. WHAT CHANGE????

I think you are saying GWB ( ) ...I said the dad (GHWB 1988-92) and he was basically non-religious in his decisions during the First Gulf War...he did everything right, not one mistake. He made the Arabs pay for 80% of the effort also.
Yes, the youtube of her saying these things in this context sickens me (like it does you). There is a time a place to pray for things. I recent prayed to my God (a Christian one) in a very personal way when my mom passed (have said this). I don't pray for the Univ of Tx to win FB games, or U of M to win BB games...I don't pray for a raise at work. She is full of shit and cannot even back up her own 'religiosity' when being interviewed---she tries to invoke the words of A. Lincoln, that is just crap. So how much of a religious and 'Evangelical' core does she have or does that only apply when talking to high school kids in a church?

You just articulated this so well.
McCain committed politcal malpractice. This choice was so irresponsible of him.

In another part of the interview she tried to turn it around very quickly but could not answer what the "Bush Doctrine" was. No, she does not really get it and having someone in the Whitehouse that would react in an even more adverse way would be a disaster. We already have a very bad situation with Bush/Cheney and if McCain was to die or unable to perform then I can see her moving in with people 'she trusts' to make decisions...this is very scary on the foriegn policy front, very scary. When compared to Biden in this respect she is way out of her league.

As the days go by there is no way you can see this any other way. Again, way out of her league when compared to Joe Biden in world affairs. She has no idea, she said "you can see Russia from Alaska." WTF does that mean!?!?!?!

Go ahead and pratel on like a bunch of old women gosiping.. Joe Biden?
"Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America," Biden said Wednesday in Nashua, New Hampshire. "Quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me."
"Chuck, stand up, let the people see you," Biden shouted to State Senator Chuck Graham, before realizing, to his horror, that Graham uses a wheelchair. "Oh, God love ya," Biden said. "What am I talking about?"
This is the fellow who nearly derailed his nascent presidential campaign last year by calling Obama bright and clean and articulate and who noted that you needed a slight Indian accent to walk into a Dunkin' Donuts or 7-11 in Delaware.
