I don't know about that rice I think I did nothing more than any parent would do that loves their spouse and child. Just like what you described above here. It is no less than what I did you just do it a different way. We all have a different way of going about it but the reason and result is the same.

Now cotton you have your shit straight, I never did understand those that were so picky that it was one brand etc. or nothing. When I want to enjoy a beer there is what I prefer but hey if it is not available (Which is the case with pabts in a bottle) then hell my brand is beer period.
