On two occasions this year I have had a black person in my home to work on the cable. Both of them asked me "could you please take the cat away?". Each of them were scared to death of my kitty! And the irony? My cat is black. And this has happened since I jumped party lines and went democrat......anyone have an idea because I am LOL so bad over this it is killing me.....

Well, not sure about cats, but with dogs, I have heard that dogs raised around whites will be far more aggressive towards blacks. Has something to do with being color blind. Not sure if the reverse is true.

Haven't seen anything scientific on this, this is primarily anecdotal.

I do not know but my cat as hurt feelings now! She is not used to being "moved" anywhere against her will. Now that I think of it, I should have refused and than complained to someone....lol That is cat discrimination! I even shook a black dudes hand at the store last night and said his kids were well mannered.
