Honestly, my only big problem with FedUp, is the same problem I have with the right. They are so focused on the political opposition, it plays into the hands of those that wish to remove the inherent power of the people.
While he crusades against the right in a bid to restore the rights and freedoms of the average citizen, it's always the other guys parties fault. The only party folk that get my respect are those that can stand up and point the finger at their own party first. Get their own house in order first. Take care of that, and that's half the battle, and much easier won.
From the point, you can shell the oppostiion from unreachable high ground all day long.
Frankly, I applaud his efforts to make a difference, I just think it's wasted energy to try to lower yourself to the oppositions standards and expect anything to change.

By all means Fedwell, keep writing. The Illegals down in South Central need toilet paper, as will the tenement dwellers in Chicago, if they ever get working toilets.

I think what makes FedUp stand out from the crowd is that even though he and I have completely opposite political views we tolerate that with each other. You have asswipes like Crowley who can only say "bushbot" and therefore it is of little wonder why some folks think he is the armpit of dems. On the other hand you have dems like FedUp who present in a different way. Abrasive? Yes. But it works.

it is not a book, I bet you it is just a blog. If it is not Hard cover 200 to 300 pages long it is not a book and since he is only selling it for $5.00 I know it is not a book.

There is too much hate and intolerance in the world. When a person immigrates, legally, or illegally; and brings their hate with them, they are perpetuating the violence, and mistrust. They are in the wrong and are not trying to help make the world a better place. When a person living in their own country, without provocation, hates an immigrant he also is perpetuating the spread of hate and violence throughout the world. Religion is not an entity that should be perpetuating hate, but most at one time or another are mis -interpreted and used as a reason to hate those different in belief. Mankind has not advanced in total other than in technology. Yes, there are small enclaves that hold some who care about being truly humane, but for the most part that term is an oxymoron. How can humanity so easily hold hate and "human" aspirations. Self empowerment to judge others is a dangerous and difficult thing to control. Either we as individuals strive to understand the inequities in the treatment of others and choose logic and reason in dealing with the world or we can count ourselves as being among the detractors. It is not necessary to actually physically harm another to be a perpetrator in the spreading of the things we do not admire in others we call hate mongers The first place change is needed we are the closest to, ourselves. Then we can progressively deal with the real problems in humanity. Of course that would have to include all others in the world, which is probably not achievable. But without a starting place, things only get worse. Cursing and disrespect for each other is the grist mill of hate and violence. My long point is that only you and I can, as individuals in dealing with each other, achieve our own micro cosmos of civility and cooperation. Hopefully over time there will be enough of such micro cosmos to have a healing effect upon the world. "But I am a dreamer". R8DMarshall
