It just pisses me off to see these people sucking the system dry dragging around 5-6 offspring. There should be a law that says "if you have more than 2 kids you will be taxed accordingly" instead of given a tax break for reproducing and/or collecting welfare. I was at the Dentist and this little fucker about 12 years old says to his mom "howww yoouuu doinggg". I bet the mom, dad and kid had a combined IQ of maybe 150 on a good day. These Mexicans and others who reproduce like rabbits should be dealt with harshly, by taxing their stupid asses out of the country. I hope like hell that moron I saw at the dentist office never runs for public office......

Then we need to make birth control affordable and easily available. Start sex ed classes long before the kids are old enough to indulge, talk about responsibility and costs and losing your freedom as a kid when you have a kid. Quit with the ignorance of abstinence...it looks good on paper but won't work as a condom.

You can thank the people who oppose abortion and want every fetus to come to term......and then bitch about having to help care for these kids for the next 18 years. So which is it?

You know your post here is brave: you have hit on one of the really BIG problems that we face in the nation today, and a problem that no one has the courage to discuss or comment on. Its sort of like everyone thinks it is "un-american" to talk about how our over-the-top & out-of-control birth rate is crippling the country: we act as if it is a "constitutional" right to procreate, and anyone who disagrees is not a patriot.

Look at China: they managed to limit their birth rate to something they can now manage: we must do the same & soon, or the excessive numbers will over come us. After all, sex is relatively easy: its raising & educating children that are difficult & hard work. If China solved the problem so can we: that being said, we would also need to take on many religious organizations, and many minorities: but it can & must be done if we are to remain a viable nation. .....pjwky

As a parent, I have signed a waiver for my daughter to attend the class in 5th grade and it was a Christian school.

If a parent wants to try the abstinence approach, more power to you. But I think a good dose of birth control would be in order too. It won't make them go out and try it, but the knowledge is there if it is ever needed. And anything that prevents an unwanted pregnancy can't be stressed enough.

I agree, I just think sex education/protection and abstinence should be taught as a whole, not seperate entities.
