Listen and listen GOOD. I am not a DEM, I hate the two party system that is really just one party that simpletons can't figure out. I said in no uncertain terms that I WAS NOT EXCUSING HIS ACTIONS, only that he is no less human than you are.
Get your head out of the asses of your hero AM radio pundits and stop trying to infer meaning where there is NONE. Only a truly brainwashed twit would make the assertions you are making in the face of a clearly stated sentence that says...

does not mean I am excusing him of that night

I guess I should have put it in a more direct fashion so that rabid partisans such as yourself can understand... so let me rephrase it slightly...
I AM NOT EXCUSING HIM WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT! NOR HIS ACTIONS AFTER THE INCIDENT.
Feel better now?
Now, back off Jack! Your argument is BASELESS!

Deism Defined
Quote:
|
Deism has evolved into this modern form because it uses Reason as its primary tool. The tool of Reason allows the Deist to grow and mature in his/her belief over time and thus strengthens the belief. Deism challenges the individual because it does not tell one how to believe but is instead a minimalist approach. Deists tend to be independent freethinkers that utilize critical thinking skills and then apply these skills to their beliefs and lives. For many religions, doubt is looked down upon but this is reversed in Deism. For the Deist, doubt is an enjoyable by-product of belief as it keeps them on their toes. Doubt causes questions to be asked and an open mind to be cultivated. It must be realized that human knowledge is limited and this means that different views must be allowed to exist under the umbrella of Deism so that it remains inclusive and dynamic. Ultimately, it is the Deist who, centering his belief within Reason, develops a profound and unique belief in God.
|
First thing you need to do, to understand this belief especially versed in other religions, is not refer to Deism as a human centrist religion, it's not. It's more of a personal philosophy -- no bibles; no priests; no churches; no tithes; no conversions. It's a belief system tailored to those who think of the "who/what/when/where and why mankind is in it" (not MY place in it) in more cosmological terms.

You know, I basically agree with you on this point.

And then proceded to excuse him.
Kennedy is a murderer who was not held for his crime on that basis of his caste and clan - which is something that destroys America.
If OJ, Robert Blake and Phil Specter get brain tumors, I'll rejoice in that as well. I detest the nobility and the flaunting of the laws which are applied to commoners.

One big difference...
According to the two-page accident report released by the city of Midland, neither driver was drinking, and no charges were filed.
Edward Kennedy was found guilty of leaving the scene of the accident and received a suspended two-month jail term and one-year driving ban.
One is just partisan bull-shit trying to do their usual, "well, yeah, he killed somebody but so did Laura Bush."
The other actually was charged with a crime.
None of which makes it OK to wish the man ill.
Now lets hear the idiots claim "cover-up" while pretending the Welch family had more power than the Kennedys to usurp the law.
