I just read the OP's post....

Once again 2 liberals get all bent out of shape (no pun intended) about a particular word (MISTRESS)........ The word grossly offended them both. They place more emphasis on the word MISTRESS than they did the fact they had affairs with married men! WOW! How screwed in the head can people get?

FYI- back in college some 20 years ago and Oprah was just starting her high climb I actually liked her show. My oh my how times change.

The women made a choice...a choice to have an affair with a particular person. How is that the man taking advantage of them? Unless he wasn't upfront about his marriage in the first place and the women were thinking the relationship was gonna be something it wouldn't.

But if everyone knew the score going in, I fail to see how anyone was taken advantage of...other than perhaps the unsuspecting spouse. And I'd say it was the men taking psychologically and emotional advantage of his spouse, not the "other woman".

But again, to me it gets back to there must have been something off kilter at home for the guys to stray. And that's not meant to put the blame on the wife of the cheating spouse, just saying the coupleship was in trouble prior to the affair...for whatever reason.

Yes, I am sure there was a problem at home... Perhaps because the man wanted some strange, and wanted to fuck other women! That would be a problem.

Not everyone has an unhealthy marraige. I have friends who have been married for years, I know for a fact one of them has cheated on his wife. The woman in the relationship is a very cool person and any man would be a dumb ass to cheat on her - but he did. And with a nasty bitch too.

Sometimes men are just fuckin' pigs and they want every pussy on the street. That has nothing to do with the coupleship and everything to do with the guy being a loser and having low self-esteem. The wife, marraige and kids just happen to be an afterthought to such people.
