Thanks again for taking things out of context...next...
Thanks for trying to make a strawman argument, too bad it does not work. Next...
What a stupid thing to bring up, so you like to shoot yourself in the foot when trying to make a salient point in a political argument?
So why did neither of them get nominated? What you are telling me is conservatives had the choice to nominate two qualified people who are Black and they chose not to. Sounds like racism coming from your beloved side, that is what you have just told us. The facts are that Republicans chose to not vote in Blacks by a margin of three to one...you just did everything to admit this and that conservatives are racist...you said it, I did not.
Man, you are delusional, seek medical help fast.

Hey moron, neither Powell nor Rice has WANTED THE NOMINATION. They never ran! Get it, you race baiting dickhead? If Powell would've ran, he would've blown your precious Clinton out of the water. WE loved Powell and Rice, because they were well suited for the job. Period. But they didn't want it. Our loss. We didn't just like them solely BECUASE THEY WERE BLACK AND SPOKE PRETTY. That's what you racist lefties do to asuage your "white guilt" because you still think blacks are inferior. That is why you lefties expect less from them (ie. Affirmative Action). It's the "soft bigotry of low expectations", as Bush called it.
Also George Bush was inexperienced? That is almost as stupid as your last comment. Bush was an incredibly popular, two term governor who RAN TEXAS (second largest economy in the country, 15th largest IN THE WORLD). He had a little more executive experience than Barry the kid Socialist who just found out where the bathroom was in the Senate.
Idiot. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Specifically, Hagee supported Bush and now supports McCain because he believes they will help "hurry up" events leading to Armageddon.
It is that simple.

I would never defend that extremist Haggee. Which by the way, I HAD NOT EVEN HEARD OF BEFORE YOUR LIBERAL JOURNALIST BROUGHT HIM UP. HAD YOU? And since he is nothing more than a supporter of McCAin (NOT HIS SPIRITUAL ADVISOR WHO SHAPES HIS SOUL LIKE REV. WRIGHT WAS FOR OBAMA), then what's the problem?
HAMAS IS SUPPORTING OBAMA. THey're a little scarier than Haggee aren't they? I know you probably fear conservatives MORE than terrorists (typical of a liberal), but Hamas has done more considerable damage than Haggee right? Hamas launches an average of a hundred rockets into Israeli neighborhoods every day. Haggee says stupid things. See the difference?
Yet, you fixate on the ocassionally extreme words of a Christian zealot (who by the way, has apologized for his controversial statements. Something WRight STILL HASN'T DONE). You fear christians more than the extreme muslim radicals WHO HAVE DECLARED WAR ON US, don't you?
What the hell does it matter what Pat Robertson says, no christians are strapping themselves with bombs trying to kill innocent people on his orders. It's a free country. Let these idiots say what they like. My beef with Wright is that he isn't JUST A SUPPORTER, HE HAS BEEN MUCH MORE TO OBAMA FOR TWENTY LONG YEARS.
That to me is troubling. And it is for a lot of Americans (WHO AREN'T LIBERAL). When you lend your ear, you heart, and your soul to a: fire breathing, Anti-American racist who visits Gaddafi in Lybia and delights at his country's pain days after 9/11, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.

This is not exactly true. He is framed this way by mainstream media (much like Falwell and Robertson in the past) because he gets ratings because he can be counted on to say silly things. He is not taken seriously AT ALL by scholars, or those who do not go to his church.

Back at cha' knucklehead.
Nice barfing back up of all Rush Limbaugh's highlights from his 'best of' show. I am sorry about your complete ingnorance of the poltical process and how nominees are courted.
Second, when was Powell going to run against Clinton? 2000? Talk about idiots, get your time line straight knucklehead.

He bearly got voted in (52 percent against Richards' 47 percent) and just as the propoganda that has now finally caught up to him the successes he and Rove said that were going on in Texas were exactly the same things Ann Richards had already been successful at. Go back, propoganda has made the man...a facade that you have been suckered into believing. I lived in Texas...his two big things he did were protecting gun ownership/carrying a weapon and proclaiming 'Jesus Day' in Texas.

Ever heard of Hillary's husband, goes by the name of "Bill Clinton"? He was actually running for reelection in 1996. Yeah, remember that far back, genius? Well, Colin Powell was courted by our side. And he rejected the offer. So Bob Dole took his place, unfortunately.
You are really stupid. It is really a wonder that you can be that dumb and arrogant all at the same time. It's like Keanu Reeves, or something. You're not him are you? Just kidding, he's like Bill GAtes compared to you. Have a good night, moron.

I don't think you are getting this at all.
It would not matter if he ran at all. The statistics of Black Republicans elected to office is outnumbered 3 or 4 to 1 when compared to Democrats. Why did the party not have him Powell in 2000? I would have voted for him then and he would have been a far superior president than Bush has been, too bad the administration screwed him over twice.
Look, it is you who is being the disingenuous fool here. The weak 'soft bigotry' comment is you using a Karl Rove tactic out of context to try and win an argument that you lost a long time ago.
The closer we are getting to having a Black president (Obama, which is get closer everyday) the more people like you squirm. You can't accept the fact that Obama has played the game very honestly and he carefully working through the maze Clinton's or Bush's manipulated over and over to their advantage.
