You are truely a gentle soul Chickie, and no doubt want really badly to belive in a quasi Ann Frank mindset of human nature. Sorry Sis, the real world is not like that.
I can tell nyou want really really badly to disagree with me, but in fact, you have nothing to disagree with.
If iot is quotes and evidence you want, there are no shortage of those, I was just hoping someone like you woulkd be smart enough not to need them

think [women] should be armed but should not vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it...it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care.
Comedy Central; Politically Incorrect; February 26, 2001
It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted.

I think the other point that no one is making about the [Abu Ghraib] abuse photos is just the disproportionate number of women involved, including a girl general running the entire operation. I mean, this is lesson, you know, number 1,000,047 on why women shouldn't be in the military. In addition to not being able to carry even a medium-sized backpack, women are too vicious.
Fox News; Hannity & Colmes; May 5, 2004
Girl-power feminists who got where they are by marrying men with money or power -- Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Arianna Huffington and John Kerry -- love to complain about how hard it is for a woman to be taken seriously. It has nothing to do with their being women. It has to do with their cheap paths to power. Kevin Federline isn't taken seriously either.
Men are very competent in their workplace - and this is going to sound sexist - women are better at running households and juggling lots of things, kids and scheduling and that kind of thing.

Just a few for you to mull over Chickie...enjoy

Wow, this stupid thread is still going? OK, I'll play along with you some more.
Whether you believe a woman is subserviant or not is irrellevant, All Women want a strong man in their lives, one who's capable of reason, without emotion (whether or not they want to admit it, is another story). There are some relationships (usually among liberals) where the Woman is the stronger and more dominant, in those circumstances, the woman should be in charge. Other than those instances, men are obligated to lead, sorry.
I gotta find another thread before my wife reads this post, and beats me senseless.

You are right in one rerspect
Whether I or anyone else believes a woman is subserviant or not IS irrellevant
What matters is, those who are, and claim to be so by by choice
To each their own, if some women want to be sperm recepticals who can cook a pot roast...more power to them
It is only when they try to edge their flawed sense of self worth into public policy that I have a problem...sorry of ye who fears strong Women, not on our watch
That and the fact, I find the fact that these types of women (note the lower case w) actually try to cliam that they are as they are by choice
It is not unlike a 19th century slave, claiming they closed the deal on the job during the second interview.
By the way, i8f you think I am some flameing Militant femminist, you have me SO wrong. I can be the (ohhh...he he he) girly girl thing better then most, and my views are totally mainstream
What I am saying, is what you daughters, sisters and moms really think.
If they choose to share that with you or not, is another stroy

Not anti-woman....anti-women who dared question the Bush war on Terror. Unless you think criticizing a woman makes you sexist.

This one is terrible. You have one quote in your favor. Who said it, Hannity or Colmes?

First paragraph. Is not anti-woman. As she said, it's got nothing to do with gender. Unless, again, you think that daring to criticize a woman is sexism. Second paragraph--sexist. Score two for you.

A question for all you Ava Braun wannabes out there :
The republican party, and the Republican base to an even greater extent, are of the belief you are inferior, weak, unemployable, and incapable of making even the most basic personal decisions.
Don’t be misled by acts of economic necessity and occasional acts of equality, we are talking values and mindset here.
Don’t insult the intellect of anyone who reads this by claiming this is not true either, because clearly it is.
In their private circles, “ Bitch” “Cunt” and other slurs, often preceded by “stupid “or “dumb” have become synonyms for the female gender
Please don’t be so naïve as to think this is not the case, or that it is the case among all men regardless of politics in equal measure or frequency, because that’s not the case
Are you self loathing, lazy, or just plain stupid ?
It has to be one of the three, or a variation on one of, or a combination of the three, there are no other logical explianations

I do see your point, but it was not clear to recognize. You receive a C+ and need to rewrite this. It was a valid discussion and may need to be made, but your writing style was difficult to follow.

And here I thought feminism was about expanding women's choices. You show such contempt for the stay-at-home mom, but then claim it doesn't really matter to you. What matters to you is some phantom danger that stay-at-home moms are trying to enslave all women into that lifestyle again. Through the Republican Party. LOL.
Not only was staying home with my children for three years my CHOICE, we had to make sacrifices for me to do it. I wouldn't dare try to tell another woman that she's not a woman if she doesn't stay home, pop out babies, and bake cookies, but you want to demean them if they don't vote Democrat.
And the "girly girl" comment is just silly. How old are you? Twelve? I ask, because you seem to really have no understanding of the choices and lives that women face, and you think that "militant feminist" means that you can't act like a "girly girl."

Who in the hell said anything about stay at home moms ?
Do you really not see the destinction between a Mom who stays at home to raise her kids, but still holds her head up and demands equalty, and some bobble headed "promise keeper" style right wing housemaid douchbag with no brain and no spine ?
Or is it thyat you are so naive you dont belive such mop clothes exist ?
My age is over 21, and old enough that I have a Master in applied science degree and work at director level at a major corperation, but not so old that I have lost my abilty to be a bit "silly" now and then in word, and sometimes in deed
I was under the impression that a girl with a SN with "chickie" in it, could relate..silly me huh ?
Wake up and smell the coffee Chickie, the biggest threat to Womens equality, are "other" women.
