I just got a new upgrade for the forum software today that has a new option for users of the forum: you can start your own blog here at AWE. This works pretty much like a blog would anywhere else: it is hosted here, and you control what you type, who can see it, who can comment on it, etc.

You have your own page that you can send people to if you want to tell other people about your blog, and it's integrated in with your user ID.

If you don't want to use this as a "blog" per se, you can also use it to basically create your own controlled discussions:

if you want to talk with one or two people about something, or want to debate someone one-on-one, you can start a blog entry on it and discuss things in the comments (which you get to moderate yourself).

To start your blog, click on "Blogs" at the top of your screen (it should be on the horizontal blue bar, the third option from the left - User CP, Register, then Blogs). If you have trouble doing it, post here and I or someone else should be able to walk you through it.
